Hi, I'm Kevin McCarthy.

Currently, I'm responsible for coordinating data exchange and integration efforts with commercial insurance carriers at Risk Metrics. I specialize in providing marketing, research, distribution and sales information systems and data ("Data as a Service") for property and casualty insurers and national agencies and brokers as well as other data services firms. Over the course of my career, I have found a formula that works for me professionally: I am not a salesperson by nature, but rather I prefer thoughtful approaches to developing long-term partnerships. I believe that credibility matters, and so as a rule, I do not recommend things that I would not do for myself. I enjoy doing business with like-minded professionals. I spent my first years out of school with UBS as a GTP Associate working in a rotation program with many different groups including Transactional Products, Alternative Investments, Institutional Equity Sales, and management support roles.

OPIC's work with the U.S. private sector, helps U.S. businesses gain footholds in emerging markets catalyzing revenues, jobs and growth opportunities both at home and abroad. OPIC achieves its mission by providing investors with financing, guarantees, political risk insurance, and support for private equity investment funds. During my time at OPIC I was a member of their Economic Development Team and was charged with evaluating OPIC sponsored projects and funds for their developmental impact in emerging market counties as well as the U.S.
